The second track from the left is call Betts Vale Track which is the one we took. Following this track had us soon coming across O'Grady Falls. Once we took in these beautiful falls and captured it from every angle, it was time to make the trek to Featherstone Falls. Crossing the bridge at O'Grady, we took the track up the hill for about 50m.

A lovely little trail exploring part of Wellington Park in Tasmania. Perfect for a day trip from Hobart, the trail features beautiful waterfalls and cascades along the way. This is a lovely, straightforward track leaving from Pinnacle Road and heading through the beautiful open bushland of Wellington Park to O'Gradys Falls, passing Rocky Whelans Cave on the way. In the spring months, there is a colourful array of wildflowers on offer and plenty of fantastic birdlife to be spotted. On arrival at the falls, you'll be greeted by lush green ferns and mosses.

O'Gradys Falls is located approx. half way up Mt Wellington in Hobart, Tasmania, There are several walking tracks to get to O'Gradys Falls, we chose to park at the first car park we saw on the right-hand side travelling up Pinnacle Road, at Fern Gully. We then walked along the Bracken Lane Firetrail to the O'Gradys Falls track, which is signposted.

Part of the land is privately owned and therefore cannot be registered as a National Park. The area of Mt Wellington Park is, according to the Wellington Park website, 18 250 hectares in size. (A hectare is defined as each 10,000m squared). The mountain itself is 1271m (4166 ft) at its highest peak, and is only Tasmania's 49th tallest mountain.
